Laura DuBois

Group Vice President,
Enterprise Storage,
Servers and Infrastructure Software

Laura DuBois serves as Group Vice President for IDC's Enterprise Storage, Server and System Infrastructure Software research, quarterly trackers, end-user research as well as advisory services and consulting projects. Her leadership and oversight spans Enterprise Computing, Storage, Converged Systems, Systems Infrastructure Software and Cloud Infrastructure and Services. She leads a team of analysts responsible for identifying and analyzing vendor strategies, emerging technology and market and customer trends affecting IT buyers and datacenters worldwide. Ms. DuBois speaks frequently at IDC, industry, and customer events around the world and is often quoted in leading business and technology publications.

Prior to joining IDC, Ms. DuBois held various leadership positions in product management, software engineering and product marketing for companies such as EMC Corporation, StorageNetworks, Hitachi Data Systems and PictureTel Corporation.

Ms. DuBois holds an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and a Master's degree of Business Administration from Boston College.

Lynn Lucas

Senior Vice President,
Chief Marketing Officer at Veritas

Lynn Lucas is Chief Marketing Officer at Veritas. She leads the global marketing organization and is responsible for all aspects including the customer experience, corporate positioning and communications, brand and digital strategy, orchestrated demand generation, and regional marketing.

A seasoned and innovative CMO with a reputation for driving marketing strategies that grow awareness and business impact, Lynn brings more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience to Veritas. Her experience ranges from large, high tech enterprises to cloud-focused mid-sized organizations. Prior to Veritas she served as Chief Marketing Officer of Good Technology where she relaunched their brand, developed new messaging and positioning, and delivered sales pipeline through integrated demand generation programs, ultimately culminating in the successful sale of Good in the highly competitive mobile security market.

Before that Lynn was with Cisco Systems, where she served in various executive roles, most recently as Vice President, Global Collaboration Marketing. At Cisco she led successful marketing strategies for a $5 billion portfolio that spanned a wide range of market audiences and Cisco business units. Lynn holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Scott Anderson

Senior Vice President,
Veritas Information
Protection Solutions

Scott Anderson leads the Veritas Information Protection Solutions business unit where he is responsible for the NetBackup, Backup Exec and Appliance product portfolio. These solutions allows customers to eliminate the complexity of protecting their information. His responsibilities encompass product management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and service and support delivery for appliances.

Prior to leading Information Protection Solutions, Scott served as the Senior Vice President of Appliance Solutions, driving the fastest growing purpose built backup appliances in the market. He has been with Symantec for fifteen years and held numerous operational roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Symantec, he worked in various finance, operations and business development roles at Oracle. Scott graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1993, securing is bachelor’s degree in business administration.
